Save for the Mongols, who start each match at the 200 unit limit, these constructions raise the pop cap for all civilizations except the Mongols. The Mongols have no houses, and the civ’s Town Center has no effect on the total limit. 

Furthermore, beginning in the Feudal Age, the Chinese civilisation may construct a building known as the Village, which adds 40 people to the population. You must pick the Song Dynasty to construct the edifice, which needs both the Imperial Academy and the Barbican of the Sun Landmarks. The Village costs 30 wood to construct and takes around 30 seconds.
