The following is a Basketball Travelling Guide that will help you in planning your trip and playing basketball while on the road. Before you hit the road, there are a few things you need to take care of. First, make sure you have the right gear. You’ll need a good pair of shoes, comfortable clothes, and a basketball. Second, find a place to play. You can either go to a public court or find a private one. Third, make sure you have a plan. Decide where you’re going to stay, how long you’re going to be there, and what you’re going to do while you’re there.

Now that you’ve got everything taken care of, it’s time to hit the road! When you’re packing for your trip, make sure to bring along plenty of snacks and drinks. You’ll need energy to play basketball, so you don’t want to get too hungry or thirsty while you’re on the court. Also, be sure to pack a first-aid kit in case you get hurt.

What is travelling in basketball

Travelling is the act of moving one’s feet more than once while holding the ball, without bouncing it on the floor. Travelling is a violation in basketball and results in loss of possession. There are a few different types of travelling violations that can be called on a player. The most common type of travelling is when a player takes more than two steps without bouncing the ball. This is often referred to as a “walking” violation. Another type of travelling violation is called “double-dribbling.” This occurs when a player dribbles the ball, stops dribbling, and then starts dribbling again. This is a turnover, and the other team will gain possession of the ball.

How to avoid travelling violations

There are a few things you can do to avoid committing a travelling violation. First, make sure you take only two steps when you have the ball. If you need to move more than two steps, you must bounce the ball on the floor. Second, be careful not to double-dribble. This means that you can’t stop dribbling and then start again. Once you stop dribbling, you must pass or shoot the ball. Violating either of these rules will result in a turnover, so be careful not to travel!

When to travel

There are a few situations when it is okay to travel without being called for a violation. One situation is when you are dribbling the ball and you pick it up to take a step. This is called a “gathering” step, and it is allowed as long as you don’t take more than two steps. Another situation when you can travel is if you are being closely guarded by an opponent. In this case, you are allowed to take an extra step to avoid being fouled. However, if you take more than two steps or if you double-dribble, you will be called for a travelling violation.

What are the consequences of travelling

The consequences of travelling depend on the level of basketball you are playing. In most recreational leagues, the penalty for travelling is simply loss of possession. However, in more competitive leagues, travelling may result in a personal foul being called on the player. This means that the other team will get possession of the ball and they will also get to shoot a free throw.
