The Louisville Cardinals men’s basketball team represents the University of Louisville in the NCAA Division I men’s college basketball competition. The Cardinals have officially won two NCAA national championships in 1980 and 1986. As of March 2020, they have also appeared in 37 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament Final Fours, which is more than any other school except UCLA.
Team News & Roster
The Louisville Cardinals basketball team is one of the top collegiate basketball programs in the United States. The Cardinals compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and are currently ranked #5 in the AP Poll. Louisville has won two NCAA Championships, three Conference Championships, and has made 27 NCAA Tournament appearances.
The current Louisville roster includes 12 players, all of whom have committed to play for the Cardinals next season. The team is led by head coach Chris Mack and assistant coaches Mikepegues and Travis Steele.

The Louisville Cardinals men’s basketball team is the men’s college basketball program representing the University of Louisville (U of L) in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The Cardinals have won three NCAA championships and have been to 10 Final Fours in 42 NCAA tournament appearances while compiling a national-best 700–386 record.
