A former NFL player, Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones has recently been accused of sexual assault. This is not the first time he’s been in trouble with the law for a violent crime and it won’t be his last either if people keep giving him chances.
“What was the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done on a date?” is a question that I have personally answered many times. The answer to this question can be found in my blog “One of the Most Shameful Things I Think They Could Have Ever Done.”
Stephen A. Smith, the one and only, is upset with the Brooklyn Nets. Smith feels it’s a terrible decision that the team is bringing back Kyrie Irving as a part-time player for games outside of New York and Toronto.
Irving will be permitted to play in select road games after he passes a battery of COVID-19 tests and gets back into game condition, despite his refusal to comply with New York City rules and get vaccinated to play in home games. Smith, who isn’t afraid to say what he thinks, feels the Nets are committing a mistake.
“It’s ridiculous and terrible,” Stephen A. Smith said of the Nets allowing Kyrie Irving to play on the road.

On First Take, Smith said that the Nets are making a bad mistake by allowing Irving to play part-time. The ESPN analyst, who has tested positive for COVID-19, believes the Brooklyn Nets should be embarrassed of themselves.
Smith replied, “I believe it’s a terrible choice.” “I believe it is a disgusting act. I believe that the Nets’ ownership is very disappointing, and that the NBA should step in. … It’s one of the most disgraceful things I’ve ever seen the Brooklyn Nets do, to change direction and adopt this stance.”
The Nets and Irving agreed in October that Irving would not be a part-time player. They have shifted their attitude, though, since half of their squad is injured or has been put on health and safety regulations.
The Brooklyn Nets explain why they changed their minds about Kyrie Irving.

Nets general manager Sean Marks stated in a statement that the team changed its mind on Irving because of “injuries and health and safety standards.” James Harden and Kevin Durant are both undergoing health and safety procedures.
“With the full support of our players, we came to this conclusion after thorough evaluation of our present circumstances, including players missing games due to injury and health and safety standards,” Marks stated. “We feel that Kyrie’s acquisition will not only improve our squad, but will also help us to better balance the physical demands on the whole roster.” We’re excited to have Kyrie return to the lineup, as well as reuniting our complete roster on the floor.”
Irving isn’t likely to return to the court anytime soon. The former champion has already signed up for health and safety procedures. Irving will have to provide five consecutive days of negative tests as an unvaccinated athlete before re-joining the squad.
The Nets seem to be in urgent need of a win. NBA players are testing positive for COVID-19 at an alarming rate, and Brooklyn is bringing in an unvaccinated athlete who can only play on the road into its locker room. As a consequence, Smith isn’t the only Nets fan who is dissatisfied. Tim Legler, a former NBA sharpshooter who works with Stephen A., is in the same situation.
Stephen A. Smith agrees with Tim Legler.

Legler, who is the ninth best 3-point shooter in NBA history, is adamant about the Nets not re-signing Irving. The ESPN commentator has no regard for Brooklyn’s decision to alter its mind on Irving just because the club is facing difficulty.
“It’s really grotesque to me that you would reverse course on that and compromise everything that team sports are about in terms of everybody being in the same direction and pulling in the same direction just because you find yourself in some difficult circumstances with regard to your roster,” Legler said on First Take. “It’s quite frustrating that Sean Marks, Steve Nash, and the company have suddenly altered their minds on Kyrie Irving when nothing has changed.” Their circumstances have altered, and as a result, their values have too.”
Irving may practice at home according to a New York City regulation. However, since the All-Star will be in and out of the lineup, the Nets will have a tough time establishing chemistry.
It’ll be fascinating to observe how this issue develops. Irving will most likely light it up in the road games he plays since he is so skilled. However, he won’t be able to assist the Nets at home, which might make it difficult for Brooklyn to win the championship once the playoffs begin.

The “what is the most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you” is a question that has been asked many times. I think one of the most shameful things that they could have ever done was when they made me take off my shirt at the doctor’s office.
