There has been a lot of discussion about the 49ers’ decision to draft Deebo Samuel, who is considered one of the top running backs in this year’s NFL Draft. After he was drafted by San Francisco, someone brought up Aaron Donald as an example for what happened when other teams took chances on players with smaller statures.

On Monday Night Football, the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Los Angeles Rams to save their season. It was a team effort, but Deebo Samuel, a wide receiver, was one of the driving forces. He ridiculed All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald after a strong performance.
Although Donald and Samuel have a history, it was the Niners’ wideout who got the final laugh.
Previously, Aaron Donald stated he had no idea who Deebo Samuel was.

Reporters questioned Donald about how the defense could game prepare for a guy like Samuel before of LA’s Week 5 meeting against the 49ers. The six-time All-Pro responded with a spectacular performance.
“Who?” Donald inquired. “Can you tell me who it is?”
It’s unclear if the defensive lineman didn’t recognize Samuel or whether he was joking. Regardless, it drew the attention of the Niners’ receiver.
Following Donald’s remarks, the 49ers won 24-16, with the South Carolina product catching six catches for 66 yards and one score.
Deebo After the Week 10 triumph in 2021, Samuel is currently 5-0 versus Aaron Donald. If the Rams’ superstar wasn’t aware of Samuel’s existence before, he is now.

In the San Francisco 49ers’ primetime triumph against the Los Angeles Rams, Deebo Samuel shone brightest.
For Kyle Shanahan’s offense, the third-year wideout did it all. He hauled in five passes for 97 yards and a score. He also added 36 yards and a touchdown on the run.
San Francisco accomplished everything it wanted, and the Rams’ lauded defense didn’t look good.
Samuel used Instagram after the game to mock Aaron Donald. “Who’s that?” read the caption. The wide receiver planned his reaction carefully, and he earned the right to trash speak after his performance.
Deebo Samuel’s excellent 2021 campaign simply keeps getting better. In nine games, he’s caught 54 catches for 979 yards and five touchdowns. Cooper Kupp, Donald’s teammate, is the only player on the squad with more receiving yards than the Niners’ standout (1,141).
Samuel’s all-around effort propelled the 49ers to their fourth win of the season in a game that was a must-win situation.
San Francisco’s season was preserved with a statement victory.
The San Francisco 49ers went into Monday Night Football with their backs against the wall. They answered in an unexpected manner.
From start to end, the Niners dominated the Rams. Kyle Shanahan was put on notice. His team seemed to be one or two losses away from being eliminated from postseason contention. The 49ers, on the other hand, went out and demonstrated they aren’t out of it yet.
Early on, the 49ers built a run. On the ground, they gained 156 yards and a score. Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns on 15 of 19 passing attempts.
Shanahan reverted to the team’s run-first mentality, relieving Jimmy G of the burden. In San Francisco, this is the winning formula.
The 49ers’ defense also performed well. Matthew Stafford and the Rams’ offense stink up the place with all the excitement surrounding Odell Beckham Jr.’s debut. Los Angeles was limited to to ten points by San Francisco.
The Niners are currently in third place in the NFC West with a 4-5 record. The squad currently has some momentum and can fight for one of three NFC Wild-Card positions by stringing together several victories.
In Week 18, Deebo Samuel and Aaron Donald will face battle again, with playoff implications on the line.
